NEXT Logan BUG Discover Logan Social Ride: 8am Sunday 25 August 2024 from Logan Hyperdome Carpark (opposite BigW loading dock, adjacent to Mandew Street Water Tanks, just up from the Loganholme Library, as shown on attached Map).
RIDE TYPE: approx. 17km loop along off-road paths (including Shailer Park Cycleway) and back roads to Zarraffa’s Coffee Riverlakes, then return via Chantilly Park and the V1.
Mostly flat for mixed social ride cyclists, where everyone can ride at their own pace, with lead and sweep riders to ensure we don’t lose any riders.
PURPOSE: Discover Logan off-road paths and parks for exercise, new locations and new cycling friends.
NOTE: If you want to join this ride, please indicate you’re Going, as we need to confirm numbers for the Café booking.
If the weather becomes unsuitable for riding, we’ll post a Facebook message the night before to advise that the ride is either postponed or cancelled.
By participating in this Logan BUG Ride, all participants confirm that:
1. This is an informal group ride organized by volunteers, where you agree to assume all risks and responsibilities for your own safety and the safety of others.
2. Each individual undertakes this bike ride at their sole risk and it is up to each individual to make sure they are capable and have the fitness and skill level to complete this bike ride.
3. You agree to follow all road and bikeway rules and comply with Queensland Cycling regulations.
Most importantly though, we want you to, RIDE SAFE, DISCOVER LOGAN AND HAVE FUN!!
